Afon Mêl is a family-run honey farm and meadery at Cross Inn, near New Quay in Ceredigion, producing Welsh honey and mead since 1999. The farm keeps over 500 beehives across Wales and produces five raw honeys. The meadery makes a range of real meads including a heather variety, and Afon Mêl holds Great Taste Golden Fork recognition for its mead - the first and only meadery in the UK to do so.
