Astrid’s Petite Cuisine is a French boulangerie on Whitchurch Road in Cardiff, handcrafting bread, viennoiseries and pâtisseries using traditional methods. Its bakes include baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat, pain suisse and brioche, with laminated dough and French pastry techniques used throughout. Seasonal bakes include galette des rois, while a bake-at-home line brings the same handmade approach to frozen pastries. Astrid began the business in 2021 and moved production into a commercial kitchen in Cardiff the following year.
